Take Charge of Your Own Safety
Nothing pisses me off more than someone who will not take steps to ensure their own safety. I know, it’s none of my business whether you decide to be your own advocate. But, why not? If you can save your life with a simple tool, why wouldn’t you do it? It’s just mind boggling to listen to people whine about being victimized, but don’t do anything about it. Who is going to protect you while you are walking or jogging alone? Who will be there a few steps behind to watch over you?
No one but you. You need to take charge and empower yourself. The cops aren’t going to do it unless, God forbid, something has already happened to you. If a simple measure of arming yourself with an inexpensive self defense product could save your life…why wouldn’t you?
Stand up for yourself! Tell others to stand up for themselves. It’s in your hands. But, please don’t ever tell yourself, “It could never happen to me!” It happens everyday, everywhere, every minute. People like you are being assaulted, killed, and the assailants are getting away with it.
Get pissed off. But, don’t ever make the mistake of assuming that you are immuned to these unavoidable crimes.
